Job summary

Community Extended Care Hospital of Montclair in Montclair, CA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. Korean-speaking candidates are preferred to enhance communication with Korean-speaking residents.

The role includes assisting residents with ADLs, recording vitals, aiding mobility, maintaining a safe environment, and documenting care according to policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold active California CNA certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required per facility policy.
• Korean language proficiency preferred to support residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, report changes promptly.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Document care accurately per facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses and the care team.
• Uphold dignity, respect, and independence; follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines.
