Job summary

Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA is seeking an Agency Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff under the supervision of a licensed nurse and to provide basic patient care with cultural sensitivity.

You will assist with personal care, take and transport specimens, operate basic medical equipment, and alert staff to changes in a patient’s condition while maintaining safety and quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Requires one year of work-related experience.
• Requires and maintains a Certified Nursing Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to the nursing staff and follows directions in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Alerts the nursing staff to observed changes in the patient’s condition.
• Operates basic medical equipment safely, such as blood pressure cuffs and SCD machines.
• Collects and transports patient specimens for laboratory analysis as directed.
• Assists patients with basic hygiene, hair and oral care as required.
• Performs other related duties to assure resident safety and cleanliness.
