Job summary

Currituck House in Moyock, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, assist with ADLs, and support the nursing team in sustaining residents' health and well-being. The CNA will engage residents with compassion, monitor vital signs, assist with meals, and follow safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe, respectful living environment.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED and CNA training; one year of healthcare

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED and CNA training required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor health, measure vitals, and report changes to the nursing team.
• Support with eating, hydration, and nutrition; promote independence.
• Engage residents through companionship and activities to enhance well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
