Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Texas CNA certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to perform nursing interventions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to state and federal regulations, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment under the direction of a nurse.
• Perform resident care duties such as transporting and transferring, restocking resident rooms, changing linen, properly positioning residents, bathing, assisting with bowel/bladder needs, dressing, eating and hydration, vital signs.
