Job summary

Scofield Manor in Stamford, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a Regular Full-Time role. The CNA provides direct resident care, assists with daily living activities, and supports medication administration under the RN/Nurse Manager and LPN supervision.

You will document care, report changes promptly, assist with meals and hygiene, help new residents orient, and maintain a safe, tidy living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification strongly preferred.
• Must obtain CT Medication Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Minimum one year experience with elderly or disabled.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain dignity and respect.
• Administer medications under CT DPH regulations and RN/LPN delegation.
• Document care and report changes promptly to LPN/RN.
• Maintain tidiness of beds and facility cleanliness.
• Assist with admissions and resident orientation; guide new residents.
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures.
