Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team in providing routine daily nursing care to patients. Duties include direct patient care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, delivered with compassion and adherence to Life Care standards.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a State-approved CNA program, and an active CNA license in the state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
