Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, and to support patient comfort in healthcare facilities. This contract, full‑time position requires adherence to professional standards and state regulations across locations in PA.

Qualifications

One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
Current CPR if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
