Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). You will work closely with nurses to deliver high-quality care and ensure resident comfort, safety, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state you are applying for.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance (transfers, repositioning).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Document care and observations per facility policies.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
