Job summary

Medilodge of Alpena is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic nursing assistance under supervision and help residents with daily living activities in a caring, patient-centered environment.

Starting wages range from $24.40 to $33.21 per hour, with incentives and flexible pay options; benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and more to support growth and stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs by signaling lights and bells.
• Assist with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assist with feeding and meal intake as directed.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and mobility to wheelchairs or activity areas.
• Assist with turning and positioning in bed and with ambulation for short distances.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
