Job summary

Fernandina Beach Rehabilitation and nursing center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on resident care. You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, support mobility, and help maintain dignity and comfort in every interaction.

The role requires current Florida CNA certification and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and prior long‑term or acute care experience are favored.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude.
• Experience in long‑term care or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and document vital signs accurately.
• Provide mobility support and maintain clean, safe resident areas.
• Report changes in condition to the healthcare team promptly.
• Support daily routines to promote comfort and well‑being.
