Job summary

Kindred Hospital Brea is seeking a CNA to assist nursing staff in patient care in our 48-bed facility near Brea. You will help with daily living activities, positioning, feeding, and basic monitoring under the supervision of licensed nurses.

We value compassionate communication, reliability, and teamwork. The role requires CNA and CPR certification, high school diploma preferred, and 0-10% travel; schedule includes varied shifts with benefits packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel with patient care in assigned area.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Take and record vitals and measurements accurately and document timely.
• Prepare patient rooms and beds for admissions and transfers; maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges; respond to call lights and patient needs.
