Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed nursing supervision in a Portland, TN facility. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a compassionate environment in alignment with care plans and facility procedures.

Responsibilities include recording measurements, assisting with transfers, and supporting staff training. We value teamwork, reliability, and patient-centered service in a hospital-like long-term

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents and support resident rights and choices.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
