Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Portage is hiring a CNA/HHA to provide in-home care for elderly clients in Portage, Indiana. You will assist with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, and meal preparation.

You must be available 7 days a week, 7am-9pm, full-time (about 40 hours) with possible overtime and mileage reimbursement. Must have CNA or HHA certificate and be comfortable around pets.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read & write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and reliable vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic care for elderly or post-surgery patients.
• Assist with medication reminders and mobility around the home.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with physical therapy exercises.
