The role includes assisting with baths, grooming, feeding, linens, monitoring intake, and reporting to nurses. Weekly pay is offered and you will be part of a supportive caregiving team committed to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license and CPR certification preferred.
• Experience as a Nursing Assistant in acute or long-term care is required.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and to write legibly.
• Physically able to perform CNA duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides or assists with bed baths and showers.
• Provides personal grooming and care.
• Prepares laundry for pickup and return.
• Checks resident skin for issues.
• Assists with feeding when necessary.
• Maintains a calm, pleasant environment.
• Monitors daily intake and reports to nurses.
• Records food intake on Nutrition Work Sheet.
• Makes beds and handles linen.
• Secures call bells at the bedside.
• Ensures proper linen precautions.
• Supervises ambulation when needed.
• Ensures side rails are up when required.
• Completes dining room duties as posted.
• Reports need for repair and safety concerns to charge nurse.
