Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Meriden, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality resident care in a warm, home-like setting.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, document care, and support residents with empathy. Prior CNA/HHA/LNA license is required; dementia experience is welcome. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and the chance to grow with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
