Job summary
Sunset Health Care Center in Missouri is hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) for 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. Full-time opportunities with sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities include assisting residents, monitoring vitals, grooming, feeding, mobility, and reporting changes to the nursing team. Requirements: Missouri CNA certification, high school diploma or GED, and state exam.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a state-issued exam.
- Active Missouri CNA certification is required.
- Six months of long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer signal lights and assist residents with needs.
- Help residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
- Assist with feeding and meal trays.
- Aid range-of-motion exercises and mobility.
- Provide personal care and comfort.
- Move residents to wheelchairs and activity areas.
- Assist with ambulation for short distances.
- Record vital signs and input/output as directed.
- Deliver direct and indirect resident care.
- Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
