Job summary

Logan Health is seeking a CNA to provide basic patient care under supervision and within designated areas. The role requires current Montana CNA certification and an active RQI/BLS or eligibility to obtain within 7 days of hire.

The CNA will collaborate with leadership to prioritize patient needs, document care, and maintain privacy and safety. Candidates should have healthcare experience and a strong commitment to teamwork and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Understanding of confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assist in delivery of basic patient care under supervision and assigned area(s).
• Communicate with leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
• Perform CNA assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting abnormalities per protocol.
• Maintain patient privacy as per Logan Health policies.
• Document care accurately and timely as per department procedures.
• Assist with daily living activities and maintain supplies and equipment as needed.
• Support compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards.
• Participate in administrative duties and day-to-day operations as applicable.
