Job summary

High Point Residence North Aurora is seeking compassionate, dependable CNAs to join our resident care team. You will provide hands-on care and daily support to residents, promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.

Our CNAs work in supportive living, assisted living, and memory care settings, partnering with nursing staff to ensure a welcoming, safe environment and timely response to resident needs.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts, including every other weekend.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Preferred: experience in supportive living, assisted living, memory care, or senior care.
• Preferred: direct care experience with older adults or individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and provide feeding assistance when needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests and call lights.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing team.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff, leadership, residents, and families.
