Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Barnabas Health Medical Group in New Jersey. This hourly role supports providers, prepares patients, documents visits, and helps ensure smooth operations across the Ocean Hematology Oncology TR department. A CMA credential, BLS certification, and at least 6 months CMA experience are required.

Epic EMR experience preferred. Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours weekly, and a culture focused on quality patient care accompany this

Qualifications

• CMA credential required.
• At least 6 months CMA experience required.
• BLS certification current is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer injections and collect specimens within scope of practice.
• Document patient information and test results in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam rooms and supplies.
