Job summary

Country Lane Manor in Keosauqua, IA is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will safely administer medications and document care in accordance with state regulations.

This PRN position offers the chance to support an engaged resident community, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with the nursing staff to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Successful completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) course in accordance with Iowa state requirements
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Must be compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, mobility, and meals
• Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medication administration records
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and facility policies
• Support nursing staff with additional duties to promote high-quality resident care
