The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) role involves administering medications, following state regulations, and ensuring resident safety. We offer competitive pay, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CMA certification with active Oklahoma CNA required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Basic computer knowledge and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Record administration of medications and treatments accurately.
• Notify licensed staff of resident pain and changes in condition.
• Observe for adverse reactions and report to a licensed nurse.
