Job summary

Stoney Point Meadows in Cedar Rapids, IA, a Cassia community, is recruiting a Certified Medication Manager to join the team. You will safely prepare and administer medications, support daily living activities, and build meaningful relationships with residents while collaborating with the care team.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to elder care. Evening shifts are available in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with residents and staff.
• Must have a CMA or Medication Manager Certificate.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Team player who is passionate about elder care and adapts to changing situations.
• Reliable, kind, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Stoney Point Meadows policies.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Measure and record vital signs on the new computerized software.
• Assist with resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding, and bathroom assistance.
• Observe resident behavior and report changes to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as requested.
