Job summary

Spanish For Fun in Clayton, NC is seeking Assistant Teachers, Floaters, and Substitute Staff to support the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging early childhood education. You will help implement activities, monitor safety, and foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment for all children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with NC Early Childhood Credentials (18 credits).
• AA/AAS in Early Childhood Development or Child Development preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, DHHS background check, SIDS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and executing educational activities.
• Supervise daily classroom activities and maintain attendance records.
• Participate in meetings and school events to improve the educational experience.
• Maintain classroom safety, hygiene, and age-appropriate materials.
• Support positive interactions and development of social skills among children.
