Job summary

Christ Church seeks a childcare worker to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children during worship and ministry. You will reflect Christ’s love through patient, attentive care and partner with families and staff to support spiritual well-being.

Preferred candidates have 1–2 years of experience with young children and are comfortable participating in a faith-based setting while upholding church safety and check-in procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with infant to preschool children preferred.
• Active participation in a Christian church or related setting encouraged.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds as part of daily care.

Responsibilities

• Provide Safe and Attentive Care – supervise children to ensure physical safety.
• Create a nurturing environment with warmth and encouragement.
• Communicate with parents and team members about children’s needs.
• Support development and routine with age-appropriate activities.
