Job summary

Elara Caring is urgently hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey (Allendale) to provide compassionate in-home care. You’ll assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal prep, daily chores, and transportation to appointments when needed, while offering companionship and support in a safe home environment.

NJ CHHA license is required; HS diploma or GED preferred. Competitive pay up to $20/hour with daily pay options and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
