Job summary

Grace Lutheran Communities is seeking a dedicated Chef for our Willowbrook team in Wisconsin. This full-time AM-shift role involves preparing meals for tenants and guests, overseeing meal presentation in the dining room, greeting residents, and managing order requests.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals for residents or customers.
• Knowledge of basic safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to manage kitchen operations and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for tenants and guests.
• Oversee presentation of meals and service in the dining room including greeting and visiting with residents.
• Order supplies and food.
• Control inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and storage areas.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with tenants, families, staff, outside business agencies and contacts.
• Additional duties as assigned.
