Job summary

HMG Healthcare in Arlington, TX seeks a dedicated Charge Nurse to lead direct patient care in a post-acute setting. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and support daily living activities under supervision of RNs and physicians.

You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans, document findings, and educate residents and families on health maintenance while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Texas.
• Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated ability to perform nursing duties in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions, reporting significant findings to the healthcare team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
