Job summary

Brentwood Campus of Care is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision to ensure high-quality resident care. You will follow established policies and procedures while assisting with daily living activities and care tasks.

Requirements include Texas CNA licensure and at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA training, with strong English communication and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as CNA in Texas.
• Minimum 6 months experience as CNA or clinical experience during CNA class.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and staff.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.
• Must relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly residents in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure proper care.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and keep bedside/overbed tables clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable by residents.
• Complete other related duties as directed by supervisors.
