Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide for field-based, per diem work. You will travel to patients' homes under RN supervision, delivering personal care and support to enhance daily living and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, meals, vital signs, and medication self-administration, while documenting care per standards. Must have CA CHHA, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate is required.
• Current CPR certification with AHA is required.
• Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, follow written instructions, and document care accurately.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Genuine empathy for patients who are ill or frail.
• Professional, tactful and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.
• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities per the care plan.
• Support patients with meals — from preparation to feeding assistance when needed.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Help patients with medication self-administration.
• Keep the patient’s living space clean, safe, and orderly.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
• Document care provided in accordance with organizational standards.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
