Job summary

Because We Care in Georgia is seeking a compassionate, certified caregiver to provide personalized care for a mid-age patient. You will support daily living activities, offer companionship, and assist with healthcare needs.

The role emphasizes safety, effective communication with family and healthcare providers, meticulous documentation, and reliable, respectful care. Certification in CNA, CHHA or PCA is required, and prior caregiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA/CHHA/PCA certification.
• Experience in caregiving with young adults or health needs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient and dedicated to high-quality care.
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage the patient in social and recreational activities.
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding the patient’s needs and progress.
• Document care provided and any changes in the patient’s condition.
