Job summary

Satellite is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following state guidelines. You will be the first to greet patients on the treatment floor and advocate for their needs while communicating with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician.
• BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations) California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations). Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse per Satellite policies.
• Greet patients on the treatment floor and set a comforting tone throughout treatment.
• Advocate for patients and communicate relevant information to the care team to ensure quality care.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on mission, vision, and compassionate care.
