Always Best Care Chicagoland is a compassionate home-care team helping seniors stay safe and independent at home in DuPage, Will & Cook Counties. We seek caring professionals with a heart for others who will provide non-medical support and companionship.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, and following care plans. Requirements: 1+ year home care experience, valid driver’s license, reliability, and the ability to work full-time

Qualifications

• Previous home care experience of 1 year or more.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Respectful and compassionate with good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license required.
• Physical endurance to perform tasks.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders and monitoring for clients.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around home and appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support physical therapy and exercises as prescribed.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report unusual incidents to Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Follow the care plan.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:
