Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home in Addison, IL. We offer paid training, weekly pay and flexible hours, with mileage/time travel between clients and direct deposit.

Experience in home care is preferred; a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in the USA are required. Full-time or part-time shifts available, with benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene and daily activities.
• Support clients with errands, meals, light housekeeping and transportation as needed.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the Care Coordinator.
• Maintain safety and respond quickly in emergencies.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time.
