Job summary

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home. You'll provide companionship, assist with personal care, prepare meals, and support daily activities with empathy, flexibility, and reliability.

Requirements: 18+, valid driver’s license, HS diploma or GED, 1 year of caregiving, and TB clearance. ALL APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Current TB clearance (2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, Chest X-ray).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and errands.
• Help clients maintain safety, comfort, dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

What You'll Do

As a caregiver, you'll help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Preparing meals and providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and running errands
• Helping clients maintain their safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
• Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families
