AmeriCare - Silicon Valley is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities in a home care or facility setting.

Responsibilities include helping with medications, mobility, personal care, and light housekeeping while maintaining a respectful, supportive approach. CPR certification, reliable communication, and adherence to health and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Physical endurance to perform caregiving tasks.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility to appointments or in daily activities.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support clients with prescribed exercises or physical therapy.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients to shops as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation for clients.
