Job summary

AmeriCARE Silicon Valley is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide reliable support to clients in the San Benito County area. This role focuses on enhancing quality of life through personalized care and attentive assistance.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor health reminders, and maintain a clean, safe environment. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and assist with mobility.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
• Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Maintain detailed records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
