Job summary

CorsoCare Personal Care at Independence Village of Grand Blanc is seeking a Caregiver to provide caring, personalized assistance to residents in our community. You will help with daily living activities and monitoring residents' well-being.

You will assist with bathing, dining, mobility, and daily routines, document care, communicate changes to the Wellness Leader and families, and help maintain a safe, respectful living environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in Healthcare, Geriatrics or with elderly population preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture – our pillars and 1440.
• Complete daily/weekly tasks as assigned by Wellness Coordinator.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents with listed services.
• Bathing, showering and grooming assistance.
• Assist residents with dining.
• Provide wheelchair and walking escorts.
• Provide toileting and light incontinence care assistance.
• Assistance with morning and bedtime routines.
• Perform light upkeep of resident rooms.
• Answer resident call signals and medication assistance as needed.
• Complete and document appropriate records in the log book.
• Maintain safety procedures and communicate changes to Wellness Leader.
