Job summary

Angels Homecare is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home care for clients in the Illinois service area. The role requires empathy, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others, with shifts that may vary and include day hours.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and weekly pay with options for scheduling flexibility to accommodate client needs. A valid US work authorization and caregiving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of caregiving experience (professional or personal).
• Vaccination status documented; vaccination status status may vary within policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility support per each client's care plan.
• Encourage clients to maintain independence in personal care.
• Assist with meal preparation and serve meals respecting dietary needs and preferences.
• Observe and document eating habits, physical conditions, and emotional well-being; report changes to supervisor.
• Promote social engagement and participation in leisure activities to foster community.
• Maintain accurate daily records of activities, observations, and incidents as per policies.
• Keep environment clean, safe, and organized with light housekeeping tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or client requests per protocols.
