Job summary

Integral Senior Living in Hayward, CA, seeks a Care Giver to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like setting. You will assist with daily living activities, promote safety and independence, and help residents engage in meaningful enrichment activities.

Preferred CNA certification and a High School diploma are required, with excellent communication and customer service skills to collaborate with residents and staff. 18+ and prior senior care experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
