Qualifications

• Must have Caregiver certification and active status.
• Meets age requirements per facility policy and state regulations.
• Exhibits a positive customer service attitude and is approachable.
• Shows initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintains consistent, reliable attendance.
• Strong communication skills and timely reporting.
• Upholds resident and staff confidentiality.
• Dresses neatly and professionally.
• Participates in in-services.
• Preferred: prior direct care experience.
• Preferred: current Food Handler certification.
• Preferred: CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene and mobility.
• Support socialization, cognition, and physical health needs.
• Encourage independence and preserve dignity through respectful interactions.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to supervisors and care team.
• Participate in in-services and help train new staff as needed.
