Job summary

Hireology is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients with medication assistance, mobility, personal care, and daily activities in the home. You will coordinate with nurses, doctors, and families, maintain safety, and help with meals, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and meal preparation with dietary awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including preparing meals.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
