Sunrise Senior Living in Grand Rapids is hiring a Caregiver (Personal Care Assistant) to provide hands-on support with daily living activities and companionship. You will follow individualized care plans, promote safety and dignity, and help with dining and daily routines in a warm environment.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and clear communication with families and care leaders, including experiences in Memory Care as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes to care plans.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
