Job summary

Laurel Parc is actively seeking dedicated caregivers in Portland, OR to support aging residents with daily tasks, companionship and safety monitoring. Roles include day, swing and night shifts; weekend work required, with a 4 days on/2 days off rotation, offering full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with seniors.
• Completion of paid pre-employment trainings provided during onboarding.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be able to work weekends and have schedule flexibility.
• Caregiver experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general attention to residents needs.
• Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident.
• Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes.
• Completes light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.
