Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare, a Louisiana home care provider, seeks experienced Caregivers, HHAs, CNAs, and Senior Companions to join our non-medical team in Covington/Mandeville area. As a Caregiver Covington, you will help improve clients' quality of life by offering friendly and compassionate in-home care.

We welcome patient-focused individuals who truly care about quality homecare and the comfort of clients in their own homes. Flexible hours available, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Cell phone required.
• Ability to speak English fluently.
• Clean arrest record and good driving record.
• Level 2 Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and assistance to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, including walking, standing, and using assistive devices.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for all clients and their families.
