Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities, delivering personal care and assistance with daily activities to promote independence at home and in the community.

You’ll work with compassionate teams, build meaningful relationships, and help participants pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition; a valid driver’s license is preferred. This role offers stability and opportunities for growth within Sevita.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
