Job summary

Sevita is hiring a Caregiver in Charlotte, NC. You’ll assist individuals with personal hygiene, support their behavioral needs, and help them participate in community activities.

You’ll build meaningful relationships and work with a dedicated team to empower participants to live well. We offer a pay-on-demand hourly wage of $14.00, full benefits for full-time employees, a 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and a supportive supervision network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible behaviors.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with complex needs and behavioral challenges.
• Help participants set and pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
