Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will assist with personal hygiene, daily living tasks, and help participants engage in meaningful activities to improve independence and quality of life.

Successful candidates bring a HS diploma or equivalent and a willingness to learn. Prior experience in human services is preferred, and commitment to respectful, person-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
• Help participants achieve personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Build real, meaningful relationships and provide individualized support
