Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior home care or caregiving experience preferred— not required; paid training provided.
• Ability to successfully complete Personal Care Services training and skills assessment.
• Must meet Texas state requirements for caregiver services.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with no serious violations and current auto insurance.
• Reliable personal vehicle required; ability to travel to client homes throughout Plano and Allen.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• First Aid / CPR certification preferred; must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Demonstrates tact, patience, compassion, and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, engagement, and emotional support to clients.
• Engage clients in hobbies, activities, and appropriate pastimes.
• Monitor clients for Alzheimer’s/dementia changes and report promptly to supervisor.
• Offer a calm, reassuring presence to clients and families.
