Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support, personal care, nutrition, and mobility assistance. You will coordinate transportation, manage medications, and build meaningful relationships with clients and families.

Caregiving training is provided; experience is preferred but not required. Enjoy flexible shifts, a supportive team, and opportunities for career growth in a mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred, however no experience is needed as we provide all necessary training.
• Compassionate, dependable, and ready to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve during difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Daily Care: Personal care, hygiene, cognitive support, and overall wellness.
• Homemaking Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, hydration, and nutrition support.
• Transfer Assistance: Training provided for gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts.
• Reliable Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Medication Reminders: Helping clients manage their medication schedules safely.
• Exercise & Mobility Support: Daily movement assistance and physical activity encouragement.
• Companionship: Building trusted relationships through conversation and presence.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Communicating changes in client well-being to appropriate supervisor, families, and care teams.
