Job summary

Companions Forever is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. Flexible shifts include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options. Compensation is hourly with benefits and referral bonuses; ongoing training is provided.

We value compassionate, reliable caregivers who can transport clients, assist with daily activities, and offer companionship in a client’s home environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care per the client’s Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence with companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
